sister poems

When we we're kids back in grade school or high school we read books like Romeo and Juliet. Not everyone is going to feel the same way about the loved on that you have lost so the poems may seem irrelevant to them.

Going through some of the funeral poems with friends and family members really helps, some of the poems may make you laugh because they are such the complete opposite of the person you've just lost that you have a good laugh about it. Shakespeare s sonnets are beautiful, but they are well known. There are many one liners that will enhance your wedding speech, poem or toast.

There's a kind of poetry called Free Verse, that anyone can use. The ceremony is a perfect time to share your love by reciting an enduring love poem. It's not always about the amount of money we spend on a loved one, but rather the thoughtfulness and time that goes into creating such a unique and personal gift.

Your poems don't have to be miserable or sad. If you are giving it to read, put in a love card.
