funeral poems

Words from days gone by seem to have that magical attraction that just can't be captured by today's lovers. Love poems transport readers to the realm of pure, passionate and undying love, unchanged since the wheel of life has been put into motion.

While many authors and poets have published books and poems pertaining to Father's Day, there are many poems available over the Internet. Funeral poems for Mom should be about either the type of person she was or what she would say to you right now if you could hear her, that's what made this poem so special for me. A personal approach helps, try to use your loved ones name.

Many sites not only have classic love poems archived, but also make efforts to have a collection of contemporary love poems by inviting amateur poets to contribute. Writing about a person who is no longer alive is very difficult and writing about their death is worse. If you are gifted with the blessing and talent of writing poetry for the dead, share it.

If you are using any special words with each other, try to use those in your love poems. Your poems don't have to be miserable or sad.
